Vmatic 2 shift problem
I have a 79 Camero with a TCI Street and Strip TH350 with a Vmatic 2 shifter. The trans shifts great in automatic but in manual it will not shift from first to second. I ratchet from first to second and it stays in first. When I ratchet again it goes from first to third. Can anyone help?

If the shifter is adjusted correctly , I would think the next thing is to call TCI and ask them about the tranny. Is the detent cable hooked up & adjusted?
