Would a '53 Plymouth Cranbrook qualify? I cut the front portion of my frame off and mated the '78 Volare k-member on using square tubing and the four original mounting tabs on the member. Pretty smooth operation, just check, double-check, and triple-check to make positively sure you are perfectly lined up. Front to back in the fender wells, side to side, and no twists or angles. If YOU line everything up properly, the alignment guy can square your wheels to the road.
If you want to ride low but still ride smooth, raise the member up to the middle of the frame. My k-member is sitting directly under the frame, and I wish I had gone another inch or so higher. My guesser was off.
