Everyone on the board deserves a degree of respect -- give it and you'll get it. Don't, and you shouldn't expect anyone to pay a whole of of attention to much you have to say. Would you be more likely to take advice from the guy who types in a respectful manner or the smart a--? Doesn't matter who's right, the "smart" guy has already injected a degree of doubt in his words.
Anyway, Cam, you'd be surprised at the boost another few hp will give you. When there's not much to begin with, even small increases are noticeable. Another 30-40 hp will make the bug feel like it has over double the power it has now, and is easily attainable. Should be easy to get 80-100 hp out of it at a reasonable price, more than that will get expensive quick. It's the same with American V-8s -- doubling the hp from stock on a run-of-the-mill stock car engine (something like a 200 hp 350) is reasonably easy and cheap, but once you start getting higher than that it gets very expensive. So yeah, it's expensive to get 150 hp out of a bug -- that's almost tripling the stock power though! It's costly to get 600 hp out of a 350 too.
