to bypass voltage regulator
Hey group!!!! Can anybody give me a web page or send me a copy of a way to bypass the voltage regulator in the old external regulator GM'S to the internal regulator in the altenator of the newer 70's gm vehicles? Thanks,slowride59

Here's a site that offers a kit to do the change over. Its pretty cheap also. www.wiringharness.com/custommods.htm

Thanks for the reply, what I have is a 68 chevy with an alt. with external voltage regulator. I seen on the web not to long ago how to jump certain wires at the regulator to be able to use an alt. with internal regulator I didn't need the info and of course I didn't save it or copy it. thanks again
