Von Dutch clothing line

Have you seen how popular the Von Dutch clothing line has become? I met the late Von Dutch a few times in the past and he would never allow this trendy fashion that bears his name to be
made. His famous nickname was sold off after he died. This is a disgrace to a great artist.

What do you all think?

Von Dutch

Von Dutch was without a doubt the finest pin striper that ever lived. The flying eyeball was his trademark. Just a little hot rod history.

I thought the name looked familiar?!

Sorry Mickey.

Your still so fine you blow my mind.

Hey? Mickey?

This is a good example of a post that belongs in the lounge, not the dump.

How can you move a post in the dump to the lounge Jon?

Age has nothing to do with it. I have known who Von Dutch was since I first got in to cars, and I'm only 21.

Mickey I agree. I was just ranting about this to my girlfriend about this the other night. It makes me mad that people who have nothing do do with cars or anything Dutch was into come out wearing stuff with his name on it.
It is popular now to wear this stuff and Von Dutch was never about being popular. He was all about being your own person. Makes me sick!!

Actually I am a little more inclined towards the "Flock of Seagulls" look.

I ran.

I ran so far away.

Couldn't get away.

Actually I am one of those radio sluts that has 12 preprogrammed stations on the car stereo (Bose 6 speaker) with everything from University radio to country. The work radio is 97.5 or Bob depending on boredom.

Yeah, I hear ya. It's sad 'cause when I'm driving down the road I just keep one hand on the presets, go through all 7, then start over. I probably wouldn't if they (radio stations) didn't run there adds for so long at time, 5-10mins of commercials!!!!!!! WTH! I can literally go to seven and back without once hearing any music!!!!!! That's CRAP

Makes me wish for the good old days of radio when Howard Manchine worked for 92 City FM and you could actually learn about the history of the bands and listen to stuff off the "B side" of their albums instead of all this top 40 "side A" crapola. Radio play during the day is truly sad with stations like HOT 103 playing the same song three times in an hour.

I guess this is what happens when you let preteens dictate your formatting. It's a wonder disc jockey's don't commit suicide more often. That new digital radio they are selling is sounding more and more appealing to me because of the pathetic radio we have here now, at one time Winnipeg had some of the best radio stations in North America...hard to believe.

Since the CD player died in the SHO I have been relegated to listening to daytime radio in the car ride home unless I want to listen to my old tape collection...and the hiss.

The only time you can catch Howard now is on weekends Or if he's filling in for someone!

The closest I drift to hot103 is Q94. It doesn't say much for a radio station when all that calls in is 10yr old kids requesting music

Once in awhile I'll venture to the extreme outskirt of the dial to NCI, they play some good ol rock once in a while, mind you it's funny to listen to there church sessions too! LOL
