Voodoo cam question

My SBC is a 283 bore .060, flat tops, 305 416 heads , edelbrock performer intake, Block hugger headers, 500cfm Edelbrock, and presently just has a peanut cam in it. Am going to do some minor port-polish on the heads. Just street driven.Would like to know if a Voodoo 60101LK would be overkill? or would a 60100LK be a better choice. (Plenty of info on 350s with those cams but nothing on 283 w/ 305 heads. )

IMHO call the cam help line at voodo and run down your specs with the tech on the other end.. you will get 20 different ppl here with 25 different opinions Any time I see a cam size question here I always defer to the manufacturer.. and if you're not stuck on voodoo for a specific reason, call comp cams.. they are the best in the business...

Lunati's Voodoo line has an aggressive ramp, that's their claim to fame. Like SS says.

As far as being the best in the business, you'll also get some different opinions.
