Vortec or Fast Burn Heads

What if any benefit will fast burn heads provide of vortec heads?

fast burn heads require less ignition timing, which lowers the engine's octane requirement.

Plus vortec head flows well on the intake side as compared to older GM heads.

check the casting number before paying. If the casting number does not end in 062 or 906 they are not vortecs.
Keep looking. Crack test before investing in machine work.
