Has anyone used the springs by Alexs parts. He has valve spting kit for $97.50 which he said gives .550 lift on vortec plus beehive springs for $129.50 which also give .550 lift. Does anyone have info on these. THanks

Those spring kits have been mentioned (don't know if it was same seller) several times, but IIRC no one actually said if they used them, at least not then.

What does the feedback for these springs/retainers look like? I'd like to know what application the retainers are for, that's all you really need; in all likelihood the springs are nothing special, like the generic "Z28/LT-1 springs sold for $30.

I can buy just about anything I want to at engine builder pricing or WD and ALEX's stuff is right there on the money...

He is a great guy to deal with and his parts fit and are well worth the extra 10% he is over all the other junk selling on e-bay. I have used just about all of his Vortec stuff as I can buy it from him cheaper than I can buy it wholesale.

His retainers, locks and spring seats are about the best you can buy, I would buy the kit complete with shims as you might need them also.
