That's been a problem here for some time now ......same 5-6 people vote. At one point there were only 2-3 people posting work here .....now there are more, yet the voting has slowed down.

Too bad ....at some point folks will stop posting there art here due to a lack of interest. Jon stepped up and offers a prize each month but that really hasn't help too much. Not sure what more can be done..... Ideas anyone??

It's never been better said! You guys show tremendous effort every month for really not much interest . I guess maybe we need to offer a prize for voters!! Lol. How can we figure out how to get votes??

It's getting to the point where it's almost not worth going through the effort anymore, for both the artists as well as Jon, who was good enough to offer a really neat prize every month. It's been a blast being associated with the fine group of artists presently here, and honestly I 've never cared who actually won the contest, but looked forward to creating something every month. It was a way of keeping my pens and pencils active during a hectic schedule. I don't know the answer, but it certainly looks like this show is dying on the vine, unfortunately.

Brickyard, and all of you that enter every month. It's a humbling experience to hear you say those
words of wisdom. I think the real reason we do it is because we love it, and life is short,,so I say lets keep on keeping on.. Jon has always been there for the reason of appreciation. I know our schedules are hectic,, but think about your month and not doing it..I always enjoy what you guys do. I know it's seems useless sometimes,,but it's really a way to add to the way life goes so quick!!

You guys are the best artist I know!!

Peace.

Hey brother!! I speak for myself,, but I think I might add the others that put forth their work would appreciate that!! Thanks for taking time to respond. I kinda think that's something we might ask Jon, about voting? It seems like after we changed voting rules the votes went down quite a bit . Maybe Jon will consider a way to allow more to vote. Jon we appreciate ya man.

I have been in the art and auto world for many of years. This site gives me a good out let to show my work to many folks that I might never met. When folks like your work or respond to stories of days gone by , It makes the hours spend drawing worth it. And when I win it puts a smile on my face because I get out the speedway book and sit around the table here at the Miners Inn with the local young teens how are working together on a old coupe and order a piece needed for there project. Of course my pockets get a little lighter too. Signed Vagabond Road artist: Lincoln Highway Johnny
