Votec heads stud mod.
Just wondering if I use a Comp Cam 268H on a vortec heads should the studs be pinned or tapped for scew in studs?

Nope, the press in studs will work just fine.

i agree with doublevision. press in is fine. my last car had a 510/533 lift cam with press in studs, no problems, though i was probably pushing it. you don't need anymore than 110 lbs seat pressure for that cam

You won`t need super springs to run that cam. All I would do is the same as I always do, order the springs that match the cam. When you have it all together make sure you use the correct break in oil as if you don`t the cam will go flat.
