I'm going to do some ghost graphics on the hoods scoops of the gto I'm painting.Ive got a design drawn up in a cad file,and would like to have them cut in vynil.Whats the right kind of vynil?

I do know that the vinyl that sign shops use is way too think for what your looking for.

you want to use spray mask. its vinyl with a low tack adhesive that pulls right off when you are done. only comes in white or yellow not that it really matters. i use the avery stuff in my cutter. it works awesome. regular vinyl is way too sticky and can leave glue behind. you dont want to use that.

WHEN YA GO HAVE THE SIGNER CUT IT, TELL HIM YER ONLY USING IT FOR A MASK HE'LL HOOK YA UP WITH SOME NEET STUFF. whoope my fat fingers hit the caps I used to use this stuff by Metalfalke corp.and ya sprayed it on and it dried and ya drew and cut righ on it.
I been doing so much freehand fopr the last fews years i don't even know if they are still around. but it was wicked fun stuff to work with... FAT is getting sleepy..

If you want to do more for yourself,Get some 8" wide transfer tape like Transferite and stick a piece on some standard size printer paper and run it thru your printer.You can pull it off and cut on the piece,that's what it's for so it WON'T sitck to the paper,Or,Cut it out,peel it off and apply it on the piece for something quick and easy.
