AT w/od for Dodge truck
Help! I have a 1974 Dodge W100 4X4
440 with 727 auto and divorced NP205 transfer case. Would like to find some way to install a transmission with an Overdrive. Anybody done this ?? Any Ideas ?? Thanks in advance [ April 04, 2002: Message edited by: JlCoffell ]</p>

working on it
hey im working on the same thing now i have a 72 that im installing a 518 out of a 94 ram. its the same as the 727 but with overdrive and a lock-up converter. the only think you have to do is get a dealer manual for one of these tranny's and wire up 2 toggle switches. one for the over-drive and the other for the converter lock-up.

518 tranny wont fit 440 block only 360 and 318 blocks(thats the overdrive tranny)
