What you guys all still don't seem to get (at least you "younger" ones) is that she is/was an internet personality and as such you will NEVER see the "proof" you seek that she is who she says she is. A person who is that desperate for attention will do/say anything to get that attention and don't think this person is one bit sorry for what they did. You guys all got played for suckers and went back for more.
BBB called her for what she was a long time before she did anything wrong but so did a lot of other people. Everyone was so caught up in the little soap opera that they didn't stop to think that this "Sway" person can do whatever they want and make up whatever personality they want because you will NEVER meet face to face (I don't care what she told you) and it was never intended that any of you meet face to face.
Haven't you ever told someone what they wanted to hear just so they would like you or do what you wanted them to do?

Okay...first of all, you are right, it is up to Jon to do it his way. BUT Jon isn't the one that had to deal with the replies of Sway in every post/topic. Jon rarely posts, unless something goes down. We do....so she is going to get the harshest punishment from her peers....simple as that.
Secondly....you are really starting to get on my nerves...You come on here and very rarely have anything positive to say about anything. You seem like you like to argue with whatever the majority is talking about. If everyone said "awww, let it go, she is just needing attention" you would want to hang her out to dry. Personally I think that you are just as full of BS as some of the others on here that have come/gone. Been here,done that, have this,had that. No pics,no input of any substance, no humor...you sir are a bitter old man, and I don't know why you are here to hang out with us 'crybabies' anyways. Sway lied to everyone. Therefore, sway gets suspended for 30 days. Pretty basic stuff.

Ideally, this is done instantly, but just like in our national justice system, this isn't always practical. I've just edited her settings to suspend her for 30 days. As a reminder -- this means that she can view the board and send PM's, but she just can't post.

Weimer -- I agree with you that sway will have to deal with the punishment of her peers as well as her official board punishment. IMO, this is reasonable and normal human behavior. It doesn't mean that she will have to deal with it FOREVER, but a decent amount of time is understandable. I believe in firm disciplinary punishment on the board, but I also believe in eventual forgiveness when people have worked to redeem themselves. If you feel sway needs some additional measures from you upon her return, then it's your call. Just obey board rules, remain reasonably civil, and keep personal stuff out of the tech forum threads, as usual.

hot_rod_kid deceived people too. He was also punished, and also got some flak from everyone (and still does occasionally). He has taken steps to redeem himself and become a contributing member. If you've never told a lie in your life, then go ahead and cast the first stone.

If you bothered to do a search (don't - it isn't worth the time), I'm 100% sure you would find this list of sepcs in some guy's post that she cut and pasted. WAY too much detail for a troll to handle on her (his) own. As I have stated many times, trolls are ultimately lazy people and put out the absolute least effort possible to ply their craft. Give them any hassle and they slither off to an easier prey.
