Waking my beast (1967 Firebird 400)

In a nutshell, I bought a 67 Firebird 400 with a tri power set up that has sat for about 15 years. I am to the point of it firing up for a few seconds and then sounds like it runs out of fuel. I have fuel leaking out of the carbs at the bases. What would cause it to not keep running like that?

If your carbs are leaking fuel they may very well be sucking air and that could keep it from running. Did you rebuild them after they sat that long?
