Its 13* here in Ohio, up by Lake Erie. No snow but windy and a bone freezing chill in the air, wish I was there in 73* temps.

you know.... -40 is -40.... F and C meet at -40, so -38 isn't -40 for us... that is like -36 for us.

I have been watching the weather maps this year and yea........ i do feel sorry for the guys up north. Rodding is year round here in the southern half of California. Of course......... this is a desert.

Midwest Ohio here just got another winter storm. About five inches of snow with some black ice here on the roads. It's about 11 degrees F. Windy as all get out. I here we may have more snow coming. 33 days til spring and I'm counting them down. Man I want some heat. And a good ride on my bike. A friend of mine went to Louisville, KY a couple of weeks ago 3 1/2 hrs south of us and said it happened to be 63 and nice there. I said I've heard of things like that but it's been too ago long to remember what it felt like. I here theres a chance it may get up above freezing for a change this coming week.
that'll feel like a heat wave. I've got to go get my shorts out. See yuh!

20 degrees here w/25 mph winds. Supposed to get 6-12" of snow. Driveway has about 3' drifts. Shoveled the walk down to the other garage thru 2' drifts and by the time I got what I needed from there and came back in the house you couldn't even tell where it was shoveled. Truck has solid snow underneath and snow packed in the wheels so tight it looks like it has Bonneville flat caps on it. Sure throws the tires out of balance. I've seen 3 salt trucks off the road stuck in side ditches. 2 state trucks and a county. Man I hate winter. BTW A HEADS UP FOR ALL OHIOANS AND ONES COMING TO OHIO. The State Patrol has their new cars on the road. Saw 2 going thru town yesterday. All white now. So much for the stealth gray. Just keep an eye out. I imagine they will have to get their quotas to pay for them.

Well ... it's Sunday night ... freezing outside, and snow is flying in a maniacal frenzy -- we're supposed to get a whopping 18-24 inches by this time tomorrow night!

Yikes!!

I can't wait for warmer temps! And it looks like Tuesday will bring the shift. They're talking 40 degrees by Thursday and Friday ... man, that's gonna feel like Summer after 2 months of temps that have been 15 degrees below normal!

I wanna play with my truck, dammit!!!

Who has time to work on there rods? All we here in the north, midwest and north east get done doing is shoveling snow. Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful...

Thats it HK! Im coming to kill ya! <img src="graemlins/boxing.gif" border="0" alt="[boxing]" /> I just went outside to unthaw my little fwd Dodge and it had about 2 inches of ice with 10 inches of snow on top of that. This is like the blizzard wew had back in 78. They say cold, ice N snow helps the water level and kills of bugs. We should have plenty of H20 ta drink and Id better not see one Fu$!^& bug this summer. HG
