Warped Wishield glass?

Has ayone seen or heard of warped winshield glass before? It's a laminated window with a top to bottom crack thats delaminating on the drivers side about a foot from the edge and appears to be a original window. The window fitment is also poorest at the drivers side.

I'm working on a 57 ish chevy truck and the doors gaps are beautiful and has taken me some learning and bravery with the hydraulic ram to get em good.
The front window never really fit that well when i bought the truck and filler was used to make it fit by someone. Now that the filler is gone and metal is new the top of the gasket is probally 3/8" low and forward from the metal across the top of the window.

I am sure the hydraulic ram is not the issue, the doors fit to perfect, and i did remove a ton of filler above that window, i thought it would then make the window actually fit. I have ordered a new window and roof skin to get rid of all the lead that is up there so the window will fit when i am done.

Just curious is all.

Sounds like the cab is twisted and someone in the past has just filled it to fit the glass .Seen it plenty of times on SUV's that driven off road a lot. You are doing right thing by replacing the roof etc but measure it in a few places to make sure you haven't just bent the doors to fit a bent cab.

I haven't bent the doors at all and i have an extra set with an identical fit to the set of doors i am currently using.

However ya u probally right but this is just one more of the things that make it custom i guess.

i adjust the opening with shims like the factory. the doors never fit well on the tri 5's. they set 1/8 out front and rear. never flush. your going to have to push the corner back out to fit the glass.
