I'm sure they'd love to see it, box it up and send it to them on your dime..
like most vendors, they know a % will have flaws.. and some even make it past any quality control they may have.. they know this, and is why they(to you) don't seem to care..
there is a reason.. that parts ,well anything, that has a warranty it starts from date of sale, not date of first use..
yes it kinda sucks when you find you have a defective part.. but grin and bare it.. and fix it..
I have 4 bbc crate engines that all came with a 36k mile warranty, and 3 years..
if ones defective i'm s.o.l. because 2004 was 8 years ago..
same with the ls6 crate, etc..
it's the way it goes..
