Dave my first thought was that it looked like a Chinese fire drill in slow motion. Just for fun here are a couple of short traffic clips from the present(105 yrs. later). The visual effect is nearly the same.

You know what's funny is when people say some ethnicity is somehow bad drivers when in actuality they are BETTER drivers do to coming from a place like that. They really know how to make things happen and get where they need to be they don't have to rely on having it spelled out for them with their hand being held, they just drive where they need to and get it done.

Can someone say that those people in Saigon are bad drivers? Heck no, they are skilled like friggin race or stunt drivers!
