water blasting

Has anyone seen the video at dustlessblasting.com They show a full size caddy being blasted with water and glass in 2 hrs. Looks real cool just cant see how you can blast without covering glass and how do you keep it from rusting. I do plan to look into this system some more though. It just looks so good on film

Agreed! That car was a ringer, likely spray-bombed with rattle cans. Saw several crinkles that were painted over with no repairs. Wonder how that system would work on a factory 2k clearcoat job or better yet, SPI epoxy?

it was a little hard to watch it without laughing. water blasting is not new . been around for years . it actually works so i dont know why they had to stage that .since they started selling the utility trailers with a soda set up on it every marketer out there is trying to sell new and improved.

I was thinking the same thing why new paint and it just came off so clean. But how could you blast with glass and water and not tear up the windows and chrome. If it could do a 40 year old paint job that nice I would be in the market for it.
