Water in block

just built sbc 383 stroker with a hyd. cam thursday cranked it up for the first time after running it for 20 min. @ 2000 rpm shut it down was going over everthing and noticed the dip stick was milky so friday pulled intake and it hit me what had happen the block had been decked which changed the mating angles with the intake (victor jr.) which caused a leak at the rear water port behind the #8 intake port. when I built the motor I did not use silicone around any of the water ports , I have pulled the motor so i can get the oil pan off to clean all the crap out ..here is the question any advice on what to use for getting the water/oil paste out of the lifters, oil ports and the block that will be safe on the bearings?

Get a oil pump primer, reinstall the oil pan, pour in 2 cans of seafoam, get a drill and let the oil pump do the work. make sure the oil port on the rear of the block by the distributor is blocked off. Drain out the seafoam, pour in a couple quarts of oil and change the filter, reprime and your ready.

Did the same thing, then after putting it in and getting it running I ran it up to temp for 20 minutes at idle then changed the oil again.
Would it be better to use a thin oil for the first run through? I would think it would bond to the water that doesn't evaporate.

Good luck.
