water borne primer

Does anyone still make a water borne barrier coat primer? Rm made one back in the early 80s that you could spray over anything and when dry you could put any kind of paint over it and not lift what ever was under it. you could re coat a fresh enamel with lacquer and not have it lift on you. kind of a spot fix for when you had a boo-boo.

It never really went away although any of us that ever rushed a 2nd coat back in those days wish it had.

All the majors have one but the VERY best one out there is the Transtar.
They pretty much control the refurbished plastic bumper market because of that reason.
