Wax on primer

I asked the question before about washing a car that is done in epoxy, and was told you can't wax it. Just wondering why.

It will not hurt the epoxy,
but they may be saying that because
it could add a little gloss.
Also it may show streaks if wax not applied evenly.

Try the bottom of a fender, it will wear off in 30 days or you can take it off with wax and grease remover

I don't really care about the flat black look as the primer was almost the glossy side of semi-gloss

I was wondering more about the spray on wax such as at a wand wash, but i'd probably use hand polish wax if it would work.

I'll give it a try and see i guess
