Waxing Laquer

Because the pigments of the paint are exposed with a single stage paint, it is only natural that you will get paint on your pad or towel, nothing to worry about there.

In fact, that is how you can tell if a paint is single stage or base-coat/clear-coat.

Any good wax or better, paint sealant will work on your paint be it single stage or two stage.

KEY, however, is that you should not wax or seal a new paint for 60 to 90 to allow the solvents in the paint to completely evaporate. Waxing or sealing too soon can cause solvent popping.
