wear spot in carpet below foot rest Ford Escape
 

Hi, I have an 02 Escape with otherwise clean carpet and overall interior. But there is a left footrest with a rubber pad on a raised block which is factory. Just below it on the carpet there is a hole from a lady's high heel.. Is there something which would resemble a clutch pedal cover which could be glued or otherwise fastened down over that hole to prevent having to buy new carpet? If so where do I go to find it?
Or is that something an upholstery shop would do? Thanks
