Weber Power Plates

Hello. I have a Holley 4160 four barrel carb with Weber Power Plates. I went to set the float bowl level by removing the sight glass hole screw on the power plate, loosening the locking screw and turning the adjusting nut on top of the float bowl. Nothing came out the sight glass hole but after turning the adjusting nut allot fuel starting coming out of the vent tube for the float bowl. I then looked into the sight glass hole with a flash light and saw that instead of looking into the float bowl like on a Holley without the power plates I was looking into a hollow tube with a blanked off end. Is anyone familiar with these power plates and how to set the float bowl level. Thank you.

You set the flaot level just like you would on a Holley carb without the Power Plates, using the sight plugs on the float bowls. Those are not sight plugs you have removed on the Power Plates.
