Weiand 142 144 Height

I wanted to install a weiand 142 or 144 in a 78 camaro with a goodmark cowl induction hood. Wondering if anyone that has one (blower) knows the height, from the corner of the manifold where it meets the valve cover or from the lifter valley wall to the base of the carb. Just some kind of reference dimension, doesn't have to be perfect.
Also I've read the teflon tips on the 144 will eventually wear out, any idea how long they last?

From the flat (lifter valley wall) between the heads to the carb flange is approx 7 1/2". The thing that really kills the teflon is debris. Re-strip kits are available. I have a couple of the 250 blowers with 15-20 thousand miles on them and still look new.
