weiand action plus and qjet w/ devorced style choke
i have an action plus 8004 spread bore manie and it has the provision for the devorced style choke that the q-jets have. but when i bolted up my qjet the mounting surface for the choke is too low and inside. the same carb worked great on a performer manie i had. and of course it works on a stock one. anyone have this set up? i'm thinkig of converting to electric but i've had really good luck with the devorced style and wanted to keep it. plus i'll have to scrounge and mix and match parts to convert over to electric. any help??? thanks,
