Weiand Stealth or Action +?

I'm currently running a stock non-smog 350 w/ Hedman Elete hedders, Edelbrock (1405) 600 cfm performer carb & a Weiand Ex-CELerator low rise single plane manifold. As I was advised before I mounted the manifold, I now bogg out of the hole big time. A free manifold is not always a good deal! Anyway, I'm going to buy a dual plane manifold and would like to stay w/ Weiand since I already have a set of Weiand valve covers & a 14" air cleaner. Which of their manifolds would be better for my application. I like the looks of the Stealth, but the Action + would also work. Is anyone running one of these? Thoughts?
I also really like coated manifolds, so I'm also thinking of switching to a Permastar Edelbrock Air Gap or Performer and just eBaying my valve covers & air cleaner. There is a local company that could ceramic coat a Weiand manifold for me, however factory Edelbrock coated (Permastar) manifolds are a better buy. Thoughts?

Intakes

IF you are not planning to do any other mods to your engine, I would recommend either the action plus or Edelbrock Performer.
Edelbrock does make an air gap for your engine, its a 0-5500 RPM unit, # 2601.

I would be reluctant to get an air filter off the internet, as they are relatively inexpensive anyway, and you could wind up paying more on ebay than at your local store.
I would go with a K&N unit.

Back to intakes; Since you are running a stock engine, going with the Stealth or the RPM series Edelbrock, wouldnt help you a bit.

I had a Stealth on a 355 smallblock a few years back and I was very happy with the performance, when I aquired the engine it had a single plane that I changed to the Weiand with great results.

I ran a Weind Stealth also.Really liked it.It was a good intake. The reason I have the Performer RPM is because the boss for my coolant sesnor in the Weind cracked down the neck where someone other than me,tightened down the flare nut on it.

I like the RPM Air gap intake. The Weiand stealth would probably be my second choice.

I wound never run a Performer intake. The RPM makes the same bottom end, and also flow more in the mid to upper RPMs.
