I have a Weiland x-CELerator intake on my sb 400 with and edelbrock 750 carb. Is this a decent intake for what I have or would a Vic Jr intake be any kind of benifit. Or is it a horse a piece? The car has a ton of torque already but of course I have to tinker with it, haha.
Thanks
I believe the x-cellerator is a single plane manifold, correct? If it is a single plane then no it is not a good combo for you based on the little bit of info you provided. Single plane manifolds perform better at higher rpm and you lose a lot of your low end torque. You would benefit from a dual plane manifold.
No problem, but are you sure it is pet Peeve or pet Peave? haha
