"A Welcome Back" to the forum for me.....95 Ford F150

Hello to the board in general, I have old posts with my 72 Nova SS project, which is built, run, and broken, oops, be fixed soon. Anyhow, after seeing my project in action and ridden in. My company boss wants me to build him a 1995 Ford 150 flairside/ step/side boxed truck into the old retro- SVT Lightening truck. Our base model truck is as follows, 5.0 liter/302 with the manual 5spd O.D. Mazda tranny. This truck has 210000 miles on it. Engine is tired, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd whine, lotsa city miles! Rear axle is a 3:55 Open, one-legger diff. Just bought 30 9.50 15 tires. Here's is his plan, keep the manual trans and have it rebuilt....will it hold up to 300 plus ft lb torque? definitely have a limited slip or locker installed.... Are 3:55s a good ratio, with either a manual trans and or automatic if the manual wont hold up to the torque of a 5.8 Liter/ 351 upgrade engine? Also with the engine up grade should I be concerned with the OBD 1 ECM, should I chip it aftermarket or will I have to find that performance SVT ECM in a boneyard or from Santa Claus..hhehhe. Any advise from the Ford Gurus would be a blessing. Awaiting your replies. Thx MadMacs
