Welder question?

Has anybody heard of or used a Wirefeed called thr Silver Beauty? I just got one from my brother , he bought it in 1985 it cost him $1100 when he bought it. It works perfectly. I'm looking for the operaters manual for it. It is painted the same color of blue that the clark is. Any help would be appreciated.

I've got a fairly fancy Mac brand 225 amp welder made by Silver Beauty I've been using for about 27~29 years now. It has Spot and Stitch modes with weld time and off time settings. Had a control board go bad one time when it was about 13~15 years old, took the board to an electronics tech friend of mine, he fixed the board for like $30 and $12 worth of parts he sent me to Radio Shack to get, and it's been working great, (actually better), every since. That's back when I was much younger and more foolish, I think I paid like $2500 for it off the Mac truck.

Thanks guys. It has the spot and stitch switches on it. I haven't had a chance to use it at home yet , I have to install a plug in my 220 . We (brother) and I fired it up at his house before I brought it home. This will be my girst mig welder, Istill have my old SA200 Lincoln gas welder and my trusty Victor torch. I almost forgot the tag on the back of the machine that says TelItalia sba, made in Italy.

Not to get off topic but those SA200s are a fine machine It amazes me how many of those type units are still in service today, I've even serviced torpedo style SA's from the 40s I don't recognize the name Silver beauty......any chance you can post a pic or 2 of it?

I have never heard of a Silver Beauty Either. Shelby1 is on the mark. Google it. Lots of equipment manufacturers provide free downloads for their products.
