welding a 700r4 bell housing
I have an 81 Datsun 4x4 with a 350 and 700. my tcas is divorced. With that being said tonight my drive shaft bolts broke loose the the short d shaft. the tcase breaking it and the bell housing on the 700. I found a few post on here about wielding but they were all cracks. I just spent 1600 having this thing build and hate to lose it. So can i weld the housing back and it hold as well as a stock tranny would?
