I have a set of 2.02 461's that has a small crack on the flat section of the combustion chamber on one head.I would like to know if it is possible to weld the crack and if it is feasable to do so.I would only have the very best do the work.
You can read about how it is done here Lock n Stitch
the better automotive machine shops in your area will know who does this locally.
If not, send it here to Herculock (Niagara Falls)
this in my oppinion is the best and safest way to repair a crack in cast iron, other wise you will have problems and alot more money to weld it if the welder makes a mistake.
