Welding pot metal

Been a lot of posts on the subject, but I'm still scratchin my head.
How about one of you guys that has successfully soldered/brazed/muggy welded some pot metal do a "wiki" (hopefully with pictures) that walks us through the process in detail. You know - "Pot metal for Dummies"

Don't let the "wiki" concept turn you away. Just write it up like you were explaining it to one guy. You don't even sign your name to it.

Thanks

I have been trying for at least 20 years and haven't done a successful joint yet! Tried all the miracle rods and fluxes that have come down the pike with no success.
