well crap, i cant find it
Ive look 100 times and cannot find the axle numbers 3 inches away from the pumpkin on the passanger side, to figure out my ratio. Ive look EVERYWHERE, any other way i can find out. See heres what it hink, the 84 Z28 with the HO engine with Automatic tranny was offered with 3.42, thats it, But i cant find out if it limited slip, the car is on jackstands atm. The people before me said it would sit there and spin the tireS, and both back tiresd are equally bald, so im HOPING it limited slip, guess ill have to wait to find out.

If car has the origonal rear end than you can use the cars option codes and call the gm dealer pasrts department.

You also may have to do alot of sanding to find those axle codes on your rear end,I know I did but they are there.The axle code for a 1984 3:42 posi is 6jr,it could be a 3:73 (6jq)
