Well I did it!!

I bit the bullet today and sent Gibbon Fiberglass the deposit to get started on my 34 3 window. Now the wait starts.

Congrats! When do you take delivery? Did you buy a rolling chassis also or are you building your own? Keep us informed on the build with plenty of pics

Thanks, I bought the 34 3 window full fendered rolling package, the C-4 selection in their catalog. I also added rear disk brakes, power brakes, Heidts IFS, and several other dress-up items. I had to make a compromise on the top chop. I liked the 3" California Kid chop, wife did not. We agreed on the 2" chop. Kyle at Gibbon said allow 4 months for buildup. That will give me time to get a crate engine, transmission, air conditioning, tires and wheels. Now we just have to decide on paint color, and interior. I will try to keep a running update on this board. I really would like to establish an internet site like project33.com to cover the construction.

I know how you feel. I have to wait till spring 2005 to get my rod from Outlaws. I have all that time to figure what kind of paint job, interior and engine. Seems like too many choices. What engine are you thinking of putting in?

I was debating between the GM Performance parts ZZ4 355hp or the Fastburn 385hp. I think for the little amount of differance in price the 385hp is the way I'm going. 700R4 behind it with 3.70 gears in the 9" rear.
