Welt Size?

I was just looking at Midwest Fabric for poly welt but am unsure of what size to get. Anyone know what the original size was on GM cars from the '70's? In my case it's a 1970 Cadillac. I'm thinking the 4/32 or 5/32 would be right.

The original was probably pre-made extruded welt that is solid color all the way through. It would have been 5/32, but if you're making the welt yourself, I would use 4/32 under the leather or vinyl. It will come out closer to the original.
