Westcoaster mail truck engine upgrade
I have a 1965 Westcoaster three wheeled mail truck. I would like to put a larger more powerful water cooled motor in it. Has anyone ever attempted doing this and if so could you give me some tips to help me along?

Westcoaster engine swap?
Have you looked at some water cooled snowmobile engines? They get a lot of horsepower out of pretty small packages...
Do you think the drive train could stand much more power?

yes, they are strong the trans and rearend are the same as in a old studebaker. how would i hook the bellhousing or trans to the snowmobile motor? whatever motor i use it must be short there is not a lot of room under the seat.
