where can i go to find out what my motor is by using the cast numbers

lot's of good parts id's articles in the Knowledge base link above under the "engines" heading for any motor, Ford, Chevy etc

casting date is not the best way to id parts, that's only the raw casting date, doesn't include engineering machining revisions that were applied to finish the part

what is the car/motor
