What is this '90 GM column connector?

I have a 90 modell Chevy Astro GM column that I intend to use in my hot rod.
On the wrecking yard I have found all harness connectors that attach to the column except one, and I wonder what that connection is for:

The one that the red arrow is pointing to is for the starting It should have a metal rod hooked to the key tumbler mechanism in the column.
