there are 2 'real' scanners in the $500 range.. the Snap On MT-2500 'brick' and the OTC monitor 4000E... both will do OBD-1 and OBD-II... both can only be found used, but Snap on is still supporting the MT-2500 and the OTC monitor 4000E can use some of the Genesis hardware, and will scan newer vehicles, but it can seemingly get confusing
