Using the ZZ4 cam will really help your lower-RPM torque, without hurting the upper-RPM performance. The LT4 HOT cam will have a little of that sound to the idle, people will be able to hear that you did a cam, but it doesn't really beat the ZZ4 cam until around 3000 RPM. From there on up, the LT4 HOT cam will make more power. Typically, 35-45 HP. The LT4 cam will require a mail-order tune at a minimum, but for that combo, there are plenty of good tunes ready to run. You would need a bit of custom tuning for the ZZ4 cam.

I have the HOT cam in my ZZ430 Chevy ( from GM )

I have also had the ZZ4 motor ... If I were you I would call the camshaft company of your choice and get them to suggest the perfect cam for your combination and needs. Not a off the shelf GM garden variety cam.
