Sometimes on 67-72 trucks-----there is a forum for the 60-66 and I have a 64 short wide

ElCamino Central---nice place but the site is slow--Bryan is an ElCamino fan
Chevelles.com---also a nice place for info--again ElCamino stuff (see avatar)
A gentleman there even posted a pic of the 59 at his own site.
www.chevellestuff.com ---in the 59-60 folder

Hotrodders----my favorite----active, humorous, and very informative without being "Badge Specific"

Same name on all the sites.

Bryan

Used to check Ol Skool Rodz and the HAMB a lot, grew tired of all the drama and now Hr.com is my only car forum. Im also on a home-recording board but that feeds another unrelated hobby.

FORDification is home base for me. I still go on the HAMB often but mostly just the classifieds and occasionally for some great pictures of runs like Paso and the roundup. Haven't checked in at Ol School rodz for over a year now.
I have used other special interest sites like Cowboy seven for 500 caddy stuff.
Oh, yeah, metal shapers is awesome and the Mad fabricators is always amusing.

I can also be found at Montecarlocity.net (I'm a global mod there), Plowsite (I used to try running my own lawn care/snowplowing business with my other full time job ), toolandfab.com (for more tool/shop focused insight) and Motortopia.com (essentially a myspace-type site, but for automotive enthusiasts). Same name on all.

In a while, Chet.

57 Fords Forever - Nice forum but not a whole lot of action. People there are open to custom.
Y-Blocks forever - Another good forum but again, not a whole lot of action
Squarebirds.org - Don't really bother with this one anymore because I grew tired of the "OH! My valve covers are not the original color, What ever shall I do" type of posts. They also don't seem to want to bother with anything that's not original.
Rodding Roundtable is a pretty good place also.
I used to visit Auto Restorer.com a lot but haven't been there in awhile.
I am on HRBB most of the time because it is very active with new posts every day. A lot of good experience here.

I go to the Famoso forum occasionally to see what's hapening in the drag racing world in our area. There's a big nostalgia meet June 23 if anyone is in the area. Dan

Boards

I am new to posting and have only visited this board. I am looking for additional boards to visit that focus more around street rods. If anyone knows of any I would love to hear about them.

I'm more into taking 60's and 70's era cars and making them handle and go like modern cars so I like Pro-Touring.com and Lateral-g.net. Since my latest project is a '66 Nova home is stevesnovasite.com. Great bunch of guys! I also hit Clubhotrod.com every once in a while along with Chevytalk.com but not much action over there!

John
