What is the build date of my engine?

Hi all. Please help me decode this build information. I have a 93 F250 that I recently bought a used engine for. It is a 5.8L and it broke a piston ring which in turn destroyed the cylinder wall.

Engine that came out of truck: F4TE-6015-AA-14 3B17

Engine just Purchased: E9AE-6015-AA-10 0f21

Im finding conflicting info on the net how to read these. How do I tell when these engines were built and what model year they were intended for?

The "E" is the Decade identifier which stands for 1980's
The "9" is the year built (E9 = 1989)
The "A" is the model design (A = Full Size)
The "E" is the Engineered Component (E = Engine Group)
The "6015" is the Basic Part Number (6015 = Engine Base Assembly)

Your old motor is a 1990's model 1994 (maybe used in 1993)
"T" = Truck

So, the engine you purchased was in a 1989 full size car.
