Cool what can i do to make my car faster?

Hi, I just have one question for everyone. I drive a 97 bonneville se 40th anniv. ed.. I want to make this car go as fast as possible. I want everything supercharger etc. I want to do it in steps though. My first step was jet programmer and dual exhaust. I think the next step is body kits and tires. If you have any ideas to that would make my car faster would you please post a reply. Also, If you could tell me the best places to get these parts that would help too. Oh, if there is anything i could do by myself it would help to know that too. clydehillestad@yahoo.com

I think your body kit will give you the most performance increase...have you thought about yellow stickers?

Sorry, just joking!

Exhaust is where I would start.

Speed = $ = Horsepower = speed = $ =horsepower
How fast can you afford to go?
I take it you don't have any tools or a garage to work in.
Have you done this before?
Do you know how to go about this?
A engine is a air pump.Make it breath easer and you will go faster.(Intake, exaust)
Wheels don't make it go faster.
Body effects don't make it go faster.

Gabriel Hi-Jackers. Pump the shocks up as high as they go so the car is constantly running downhill. Or is that for mileage. I can't remember. Don't they come with yellow stickers in the box too?

First thing I'd do is add a little lightness to that barge...

In other words, take out all the creature comforts...

Personally, I would look into a couple jet engines from the plane bone yard. I hear you can get them cheap.

On a more serious note, headers and a supercharger kit would make it fly. You will also need an injector upgrade and a quality ignition like msd. Maybe 40 lbs/min injectors or so. Kits are available if your pockets are deep.

The first thing i would do is put in a turbo charger. Superchargers are greate but take away some of the engines horse power. And for a cuple dollors more u can buy a gauge for your turbo charger and trick out the interiour. But you may have to take a turbo charger to a shop it get it installed.
Go ahead and put on the exhast, but the body kit and tires would do nothing but wast $.

if u really wanted to make it go faster you should lighen it up forget the rims and body kit take out everything that you can think of if u are looking for speed take out carpet backseats pass seat ect then you worry about the motor upgrades like a intake manifold throttle body supercharger- or turbo up grade things like computer ect thats what i would do if u really wanted to make a bonnie go faster

When I was his age, we used to just flip the air cleaner cover to make it SOUND fast. (and flip it back before Dad noticed)
