What can I put over Laquer?
Hello,
The Laquer job on my 77 Olds is gone. In some areas, namely the sides, the paint is still good enough to just scuff up and apply paint. What type of paint will adhere to the Laquer without having to totally strip it? Can I just put rust primer over it then shoot?

sand it, coat with primer sealer, then paint
