what carb has a tube, instead of a venturi?

what carb has a tube, instead of a venturi sticking into the middle of the barrel? are these any good?

it is a racing carb, up there with barry grant. for all i know, it might be one of his. it has a tube that delivers fuel into the center of the barrel airflow,instead of the traditional venturi setup. this is a carb that has probably been made in the last 5 years(i think) it almost has the same size as a holley.

no, the shape is like a holley's the predator is a variable venturi.

carb

They are called areosol carbs, Most i have seen are made by C&S carbs. They have a real big following in the dirt track racing deal. I seen in there catalog they have listings for a drag race carb and the part number is different from the dirt one. If your thinking about buying one check to see witch one it is. Not that the dirt one would not work. I do not have enough dealings with them to answer that. The late model team i build motors for put one on the car last year that some one loaned to them...... Guess what it's still on the car.... The driver said it really improved the throttle response. So they work in that application.

C&s carbs are the ones i was looking for!!! thanks, K-STAR!! are these worth paying extra over a b-g carb?
