You cant go wrong with SPI products. I started using them about 8 years ago.. I only tried them out because everyone here was raving about the products and the customer service.. Fast forward 8 years and it is all I will use..
Ive used the Pro Spray high temp 7000 mentioned above, but it delaminated on a hood of a truck that had 3 coats shot, sanded with only 2000 and buffed.. Clear lasted only a couple of years before it started to split. When I approached the jobber about it, he asked if I still had the activator can because they had issues with a certain batch.. Really?? Im sure it was an isolated event, however since the jobber would not furnish more clear for the re do, I never used it again.. Their base and single stage I use on muscle cars, and clear over both with SPI

I have also used several gallons of the PPG 2002 clear.. Loved that clear, sprayed like glass, buffed like butter, held up and never saw it fail.. I compared my first purchase of SPI products to that clear as it was what I was using when I switched over along with some cheap off brands I bought locally that worked well for collision work etc..

AS mentioned above each manufacture makes good products, however you wont talk to the owner of PPG or Sikkens or Dupont.. You also wont talk to a chemist who formulates the clears and knows them inside and out.. With SPI you get it all.. An affordable clear that could easily demand top competitors prices, customer service unmatched in the industry and a product that has stood the test of time and proven out with many many backyardagains like myself to the top Pro's in the industry..

Happy Spraying
