what to cut unsulation with???

Hi
I'm getting ready to insulate my firewall, floor, etc. I have the type of insulation with foil on both sides and jute in the middle. I've tryed cutting it with a razor knife, tin snips, regular sizzors and can't get a neet cut . Any suggestions what to cut this stuff with?
thanks

You can cut it easily will a sharp utility knife, but you need to compress it so it's as thin as possible and guide your cuts with a straight edge. A good framing square for short cuts, or a heavy aluminum 5' rule for long cuts works well.
