Back on it again today. Forgot how messy the stock TH350 pan can be when you change tranny fluid! I'll never understand they dropped the plug to save a few nickles!
I didn't put the pan back on afterr changing filter and fluid, as I've had a new chrome pan with a plug for almost a year, and it finally went on.
After the tranny I removed my old Studey brakelight from the rear and plugged the holes, then wired in a new LED so it gets people's attention when I hit the brakes. The little lights in the bumper just weren't enough on a sunny day.
Has anyone drilled out the pan and inserted a plug, even one with a magnet to draw out the filings?
